| 商品詳細/Description of item | 楼閣山水文様に額縁の中に描かれた牡丹獅子文様。 藍の濃淡と朱、金とのコントラストが美しい大皿です。 「楼閣山水」の「楼閣」とは高い建物を示します。 その建物を中心に遠くに霞む山、近くに丘を描いて遠距離を出し、生い茂る木や流れる川、橋などの風景を文様に描きあげています。 獅子文様は、ライオンを文様化したものと言われており、邪気を払う魔除けの意味を持ちます。 また、百獣の王と言われることからその威厳ある姿は、武士が支配していた時代には好まれた文様です。 また、牡丹は百華の王とされています。 共にその世界の中では一番の位に当たります。 その為、その二つの取り合わせは、とりあわせ、配合のよいことのたとえとして用いられてきました。 また、これだけの獣の中でも王と言われる獅子にさえ天敵がおり、それが体に寄生する虫。 この虫を退治できるのが牡丹の花に留まる朝露で、獅子はこの牡丹の下では安らかに眠ることができるともされていました。 その為、この組み合わせが生まれたとも言われています。 獰猛な獅子が唯一、安らかにいられるのが牡丹の花の下。 心平気和の意味合いもあったのではないかとも推測されます。 いくら戦国時代に比べて、世が安定した江戸時代にあっても現代とは違い、いつ命がなくなってもおかしくないという危機感が武士ならず、庶民の間でもあった時代。 この文様を好んで描いた職人の心、または作らせた依頼人の心が感じられるお品です。 一つ一つ描かれた線が細く繊細に描かれ、職人の技術が伺える圧巻のお品です。 絵皿として飾られてもよいです。 もちろん、まだまだ実際にお料理の盛皿としてご使用いただけます。 → 他の大皿はこちら A peony and lion pattern is drawn inside the frame of the Roukaku landscape pattern.
